My name is Dr. John Wilson, MD. I am a Board Certified Pediatrician. I attended Medical School at the University of Missouri here in Columbia, and did my pediatric residency at the MU Children’s Hospital. I worked for a hospital run clinic for a few years but decided it was time for a change. I started CoMO Cubs Pediatrics in April of 2013 and have had a lot of fun seeing the practice grow and getting to know all of our great families! A large goal of mine in owning my own practice was to provide an environment where patients and families would always feel welcomed, familiar, and have ease of access to us as providers. We don’t want our patients to feel like a number!
My wife, Megan, is a Respiratory Therapist and was part of
the Critical Care Children’s Transport Team for MU Children’s Hospital. She now works part-time and enjoys being a mostly stay-at-home mom for our two boys and little girl.
CoMO Cubs Pediatrics includes a great staff.
Dr. Tina Brockman joined CoMO Cubs in January 2016. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician, and the doctor that my wife and I have always entrusted with the care of our own children. I have known Dr. Brockman for 10 years and I am thrilled that she is providing her excellent, compassionate care here at CoMO Cubs! Dr. Brockman and her husband have 3 children of their own, and at the present time she will be working here 2-days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), while spending the rest of her time caring for her children.
Dr. Brockman completed medical school at Southern Illinois University – Springfield, and her pediatric residency at MU Children’s Hospital.
Lorinda Sedillo is our office RN, she has filled in for us in the past, but she is now a full-time nurse here at CoMO Cubs and we are absolutely thrilled to have her!
Lorinda is an RN with a wealth of experience. She has worked in the pediatric and adolescent units in the hospital, as well as in the nursery, and postpartum units. She is a busy mother herself with 5 kids at home, so if you are dealing with something, chances are she has been there!
Lorinda is also working toward becoming certified as a Lactation Nurse, and she is a great resource for breast feeding advice.
Angela Smith is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience, and has raised two great children of her own. She truly enjoys helping to take care of our patients and is very knowledgable. She is currently working at CoMO Cubs part-time during the school year due to teaching duties for a Nurse Practitioner program.
Heather Mozingo was my nurse for almost 3-years while I worked for the Hospital clinic in Moberly, and I was very excited that she agreed to move over to CoMO Cubs for us!
Heather is an LPN and is functioning as Dr. Brockman’s nurse. She has a lot of pediatric experience, knows the answers to a lot of questions, and is a great resource for general advice for parents! Heather is also mom to one of the sweetest young ladies I’ve ever met, and she has a new baby boy who also keeps her busy at home.
Nurse Kallie Labella is an LPN who is working part-time. Kallie has an awesome, upbeat personality, is very smart, and loves kids. She is a mother herself of a super cute little 9-month-old son.
Kallie has done an amazing job so far giving great advice to parents on the phone, making our patients feel comfortable and welcomed, and helping organize the office like never before. We are very happy to have her!
Jenae Dorman is our receptionist and office manager, and is often the first friendly face that you will see when you visit. She is always willing to help parents in any way she can and loves getting to know our families. Kids learn that she is the one to ask for stickers and suckers!
Megan Harmon is our business manager and is a great resource for any insurance or billing questions. She keeps our office running smoothly!
